The ‘Bokke’

I was recently asked to paint ‘something’ for a blank wall in an office, after seeing the space where the painting would go I immediately knew what I wanted to do………….

I chose South Africa’s national animal the Springbok, and the painting fits in perfectly to the space (if I do say so myself) and the client loves it.

Just a little fun

A while ago I thought my kitchen needed some artwork to liven it up a bit, so I decided a gorgeous dairy cow was exactly what was needed……………..

Then I decided to test my water colour skills with this little rose…………

Its nice to change my routine a little bit, but my first love will always be painting animals of ALL kinds!!

Finally an update

I’ve been lucky enough to be busy with comission work over the last few months that I haven’t had time to update my blog.

So I was looking at all the paintings that I have put up on the blog and noticed that I really have none for sale, so I am now going to paint a little trio of paintings that I’m quite excited about and they will be for sale, and a portion of the profits made will go to a specific charity/charities that need the funds!

On a side note, my friends and family are going to be lucky enough to recieve little painting this year for thier Christmas presents, I thought it would be a good idea as 1. I have the talent, so use it and 2. I’m in a position where I can afford to give away a few pieces of art to the ones I love.

Hopefully it wont be very long till I post again, but until then, have a good week everyone!!
